MEET THE TEAM
Chairperson
David Gerany brings decades of hands-on experience in construction, real estate, insurance, and business ownership. He spent 25 years as a Texas-licensed Real Estate Inspector and 20 concurrent years as a Texas-licensed Insurance Adjuster and Agent. Though now retired from both professions, he maintains the ability to reinstate his licenses through continuing education.
From 1981 to 1996, David owned and operated multiple retail locations, gaining 15 years of experience in business management, operations, and customer service.
From 1996 to 2021, he owned and operated a residential remodeling company as a general contractor. During that time, he continued to hold both his inspector and insurance licenses while running the business full-time with a team of 2–6 employees. David personally served as lead carpenter, painter, and cabinet maker, bringing a hands-on approach and deep practical expertise to every project.
